For Tarrant County

Precinct 4 Commissioner

Three Pillars To Strengthen
the Web

Our campaign rests on the principle that su lucha es mi lucha. That our well-being is interconnected, and strong communities are built through policies that strengthen rather than fray our web of mutual care and responsibility.

Leading with Compassion Over Cruelty

What's Happening Now: Federal and state policies are growing increasingly cruel and partisan, and instead of pushing back, current county leadership has chosen to be an incubator for these policies. The local level is where we have the most direct power to make a difference.

The Question: When policies are designed to harm rather than help, who stands between our neighbors and that cruelty? Your Commissioner should.

2

Bringing Representation Back to Representative Government

What's Happening Now: The Commissioner's Court has become hostile to community input. They've made voting harder rather than easier. They've reduced public comment to one meeting per month at 10 am making it challenging for working families to participate. They continue to create barriers between us and our county government.

The Question: If you can't easily vote or speak, how can you hold power accountable? Democracy only works when participation is prioritized, not obstructed.

3

Increasing Safety by Investing in Connection and Care

What's Happening Now: Current leadership recklessly outsourced health and human services on top of making cuts to our county hospital district budget, leaving our most vulnerable neighbors without the support systems we all need. Tarrant County now leads the entire state in sending young people to youth prison. The County Judge has been unwilling to hold the Sheriff accountable for the alarming jail death rates.

The Question: When we cut the supports that catch people before they fall, are we actually safer or just more punitive?
